THEATERS, MUSEUMS, TENTS, CONCERT HALLS HAVE BEEN CLOSED. FESTIVALS ARE CANCELLED AND ARTISTS HAVE TO STAY HOME. AUDIENCES DO NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO ENJOY ART AND CULTURE SINCE A WHILE. AND HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST?

WE ARE TIRED, EXHAUSTED OF CANCELLATIONS AND WAITING, BUT WE FEEL THE RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP MOVING. CIRCUS ARTISTS NORMALLY SHARE THEIR INTENTIONS, FELLINGS AND THOUGHTS THROUGH PERFORMING. HOWEVER NOWADAYS THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE AND WE HOPE THIS INSTALLATION TO BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO KEEP THE BOND BETWEEN PERFORMERS AND AUDIENCE ALIVE.

PUBLIEK ZONDER CIRCUS GATHERS PICTURES, OBJECTS, TESTIMONIES OF ARTISTS, DRAWINGS AND TEXTS AS A RESPONSE TO THE SITUATION THAT WE ALL FIND OURSELVES IN. AN INVITATION TO REFLECT OR TO FORGET.

STAY SAFE. TAKE CARE OF EACHT OTHER AND DANCE LIKE NOBODY IS WATCHING EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE
